Champagne and Cupcakes

I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate a birthday than champagne and cupcakes. 


Raspberry and White Chocolate, Devils Food and Vanilla 99 cones......yes that's right, cupcakes made to look like a 99 cone.


Delicious they were too (the sponge cake is cooked actually inside the cones and then iced when cooled).......want to see more?


These raspberry ones had whole raspberries in the sponge and a well of white chocolate and cream in the centre.

More?


Finally chocolaty Devils Food cupcakes.

We had a few casualties on the way in when a couple of cones decided to throw themselves off the stand.


But we followed the 10 second rule and rearranged them for scrapbooking photo opportunities.

So to those who haven't had chance to try them you can try some cyber cake today....sent with my love.x

    Oh, wow... they look delish!!! You've heard of "a moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips"...? Wel, for me it's more "A cake or ten I spy... oops, there it goes straight to my thighs!" Or possibly "Ooh, Ice cream and jelly... just added pounds to my belly!" Think I've just gained a stone *lol*

    Yeah Shaleen, I'm trying not too think of all the calories I have consumed this weekend....Zumba tonight so hopefully it may help.

    Wow :) Never seen ones cooked in a cone before they look so effective and I'm sure they tasted as good as they look.

    Ooo wow, these look amazing!! Good job it's only a photo, I'm supposed to be dieting to fit into a dress and I don't think I'd be able to resist these!!
    I'd seen those 'ice-cream' ones too, glad to see they work...even more tempted to give them a go now! x

    What a lovely display, your cupcakes are making me quite hungry just looking at them. I have never seen cupcakes baked in ice cream cones before, what a wonderful idea.

    Yum! My mouth is watering just looking at those cupcakes, even though I'm not a cupcake fan! They're gorgeous and I'm sure they were delicious. Happy 16th to the birthday boy. :D
